I grew up in the coal mining areas of Alabama. My family raised me to be a Southern gentleman, and I try to implement those values into my work. I enjoyed a lot of sports in my high school days and always excelled in my studies. My brother and I were the first in our family's lineage to go to college. After receiving a scholarship to Auburn University, I graduated with a Geology degree.
College was where I picked up my love for music. I played in a bluegrass band for eight years, and music is still a major part of my life even though it's currently playing "second fiddle" to my real estate career. I listen to all types of music but focus my guitar playing on the bluegrass flat picking style, and more recently, the Gypsy Jazz style. I also dabble in mandolin and banjo playing.
I could not ask for a better place to live and work than Asheville, NC. It's the only place I've been where there's a different jam session every night of the week. I'm very blessed to be constantly surrounded by great artists, not just in the musical realm, but in all types of artistic expression. This is one of the key factors that make Asheville so unique and fun.
Another great feature of the Asheville region is the outdoor activities. I love to fish, hike, camp and bike. I have been known to take my clients trout fishing and let them in on the best spots. (This, of course, is after they purchase property!)
I have worked with John Carroll since starting my career in the real estate business. I also received my real estate schooling from his real estate school. John has been a great mentor for me--I feel as though I'm in the greatest position a person could ask for in my line of work.
I have achieved several designations including Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Resort and Second-home Property Specialist (RSPS), and Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR). After our conversion to Century 21 All Seasons in 2007, I received the C21 Ruby Award for my 2007 sales production. We have a specatcular office at 12 All Souls Crescent in Historic Biltmore Village, and all visitors are welcome!
Saving the best for last, I love spending time with my fiance and 3 dogs. I have traveled all across the US and overseas, and I could not think of a better place to lay down my roots than Asheville, NC. I absolutely love it here.
